Daniel Forero

Director, Capital Solutions

Daniel Forero is a Director in the Capital Solutions team where he is primarily focused on raising capital and structuring financing alternatives for Scale’s diverse portfolio of energy infrastructure assets. Daniel has over 9 years of experience in renewable energy finance and investing. Most recently, he was a Vice President in the investments team at Soltage where he raised more than $0.5B in capital for 450MW of renewable distributed generation. Prior to that, he worked at ENGIE North America, where he helped raise $2.5B in capital from tax equity investors, lenders, and equity investors for a 2GW portfolio of renewable assets. Daniel also worked at Calpine and First Solar where he structured and evaluated financing options for more than 3GW of renewable assets. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia.
