Ryan Phillips
Sr. Director, Project Engineering & Estimation
Ryan is the Sr. Director of Project Engineering and Estimation at Scale Microgrids. He has spent over 25 years in the electrical industry and 12 years in the renewable energy sector delivering multiple giga-watts of commercial and utility scale PV and BESS projects. Most recently at Tesla, he led the Pre-Construction, Development Engineering, and Sales Engineering teams responsible for the engineering and technical due diligence to support the sales of tens of GWh’s of utility scale BESS equipment and some of the world’s largest turn-key battery projects. While at SunPower Ryan directly supported the engineering and deployment of some of the biggest PV plant installations at the time. Ryan received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a licensed Electrical Engineer in the state of California.
